The honest answers.
The questions people actually ask before they trust a tool with their client relationships.
What is Raving, exactly?
A teammate that promotes your work for you. It lives in your Slack, catches the praise your clients already send, and turns each kind message into a polished testimonial, a branded graphic, a ready-to-post update, and a request for a public review. You approve, it publishes.
How is this different from Senja or Testimonial.to?
Those are tools you operate: you collect the praise, pick the good ones, design the graphic, write the post, and remember to publish. Raving does that work itself. The difference is that it lives where the praise happens and acts on it, so the promoting gets done instead of sitting on your to-do list.
Do I have to write anything myself?
No. That is the whole point. You flag a message and Raving writes the testimonial, the pull quotes, and the social post. You review and approve. If you want to tweak a word, you can, but you never start from a blank page.
Does it only work with Slack?
Slack first, because that is where agencies already talk with each other and with clients. Email is next, and Teams, Google Chat, and Figma comments follow. The goal is that wherever a client says something great, it gets caught in one place.
Does it make things up?
Never. Raving only tidies what a client actually said: it fixes grammar and trims rambling, and keeps their voice. It will not invent a number, a result, or a feeling that was not in the original message. Everything it produces is something your client would happily sign their name to, because they basically already did.
What can Raving see in my Slack?
Only what your team flags. In the first version it reads a message when someone reacts to it with the Raving emoji, nothing else. It posts nothing anywhere without your approval, and you can revoke its access at any time. Proactive detection, if you ever turn it on, is opt-in per channel and stays private to your team.
Is asking for reviews this way allowed?
Yes, when it is done right, and Raving is built to do it right. Asking a specific happy client to leave a public review is fine. What is not allowed is review gating: filtering out unhappy customers so only good reviews reach a public page. Raving never does that. It helps a happy client share what they already told you; it never suppresses anyone.
Where does the proof go live?
On your own site. Raving gives you one embed snippet that works on Squarespace, Wix, Webflow, WordPress, or a custom site. Drop it in once and your proof wall stays up to date as new testimonials are approved.
What does it cost?
Solo is $39 a month, Agency is $99 a month, and your first testimonial is free. See the pricing page for what each plan includes.
